Her path into editing began in the world of fine arts, where her photography projects were never about a single image, but about sequences—and what happened in between them. It was always about the cut, the space, the rhythm. In her hands, images are words, and a sequence becomes a verse.

Born in Switzerland to Italian parents and raised with a deep connection to Italian culture, Barbara has worked extensively in New York and Los Angeles since 1998. Fluent in German, Italian, English, French, and Spanish, she believes that “a different language is a different vision of life”—a sensibility that shapes her approach to storytelling.

Her work spans documentaries, reality series, and scripted projects, always driven by a passion for cinematic truth and the rhythm of visual storytelling.
