Barbara began her career editing commercials, corporate videos, and promos, learning to craft sharp, engaging stories in short timelines. Alongside that work, she took on feature documentaries and low-budget narrative films, developing her voice in longer-form storytelling rooted in emotional pacing and structure.

Since 2011, her primary focus has been unscripted television, where she has built a strong track record across a range of formats, from competition shows to docuseries, bringing clarity, rhythm, and story to complex timelines and raw material.

With a background in fine arts, Barbara has always been drawn to the interplay of image, pacing, and meaning. Editing became the natural evolution of that curiosity. Her approach blends creative intuition with a strong editorial sense, always in service of the narrative.

Born in Switzerland to Italian parents, Barbara has lived and worked in New York and Los Angeles since 1998. She is fluent in five languages: English, Italian, German, French, and Spanish, bringing cultural sensitivity and adaptability to international and multilingual projects.
